¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ Ipswich Campus today welcomes 90 new students to begin their studies in Medicine.

A Mini Orientation Market Day is being held at ¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ Ipswich Campus today to introduce students to a variety of services, clubs, activities and business available to them during their studies.

The cohort of Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) students based at the Ipswich Campus will not only have access to the facilities already on campus, but also the new $1.6 million refurbishments undertaken in late 2011 to cope with the increase from 50 to 90 Year 1 students into the program.

A new 100 seat anatomy lab and an additional two new clinical coaching rooms have recently been completed in time for the start of teaching next week.

The MBBS Program is designed to produce doctors who are able to meet today’s challenges.

The curriculum has been planned to capture the enthusiasm and maturity of its graduate entrants and help them develop into highly-skilled medical graduates capable of entering the wide variety of career options open to them.
