University teachers have been recognised at ¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ’s ceremony held last night (2 November).
said the awards ceremony, held at , celebrated teaching and learning practices that engaged and inspired students.
“At ¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ, our goal is to create highly sought-after graduates equipped with the necessary intellectual leadership, personal and professional skills to succeed in life,” Professor Lu said.
“It is an honour to acknowledge such a motivated group of teachers and I thank them for their dedication to ensuring our students have an exceptional learning experience.”
This year, ¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ presented five individuals with Awards for Teaching Excellence and one group with a Commendation for Programs that Enhance Learning.
Four teachers were also recognised with Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning and another teacher received a Commendation in the same category.
said the award recipients had developed high-quality teaching practices and created inspirational learning environments for students.
“For us to continue producing high quality graduates, we must continue to keep students at the heart of what we do, which is what these awards are really about,” Professor Wright said.
“Our strong industry connections and innovative approaches to teaching and learning produce an engaging and well-rounded learning environment.”
The awards are a highlight of ¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ’s (2 November – 6 November), a program of events designed to showcase teaching at ¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ.
