¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ has achieved 10 out of 11 subject areas in the world’s top 100 in the latest rankings.
In Psychology, ¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ improved 18 places to 28 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject.
The University’s other top 50 subjects were Life Sciences, now ranked 32, and Education which rose to 40th.
The University’s biggest subject improvement on last year’s results was in Physical Sciences, up 19 places to 70, covering the disciplines of mathematics and statistics, physics and astronomy, chemistry, geology, environmental sciences, and earth and marine sciences.
Business and Economics (51), Engineering (54), Clinical and Health (56), Law (72), Social Sciences (77) and Arts and Humanities (91) were ¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ’s other subject areas in the top 100.
¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ’s Computer Science improved to just outside the top 100, now in the 101-125 ranking bracket.
The subject-specific rankings accompany the overall THE World University Rankings, and can be used to help students determine where to study.
¿ì²¥É«ÇéƬ improved to 53rd in the overall rankings announced earlier this month.
